Sundial Cottage enjoys a rather unique beach front position in the ever popular town of Aldeburgh.

Recently refurbished and well equipped this comfortable cottage has its accommodation all on one level. There is a private patio with BBQ, table, chairs and parasol, a perfect place to relax - listen to the waves roll in and take in the sea air! Situated just a few yards from the beach (a gate gives direct access) and with many individual shops, exceptional restaurants, traditional public houses and an independent cinema all within easy walking distance.

Aldeburgh is famous for its association with the composer Benjamin Britten, founder of the annual Music and Arts Festival held at the nearby Snape Maltings Concert Hall as well as The Aldeburgh Carnival in August, the recently installed 'Scallop Sculpture' by artist Maggie Hambling and of course the award winning fish and chip shops in the High Street. Lovely strolls along the beach or beach path can be enjoyed as well as picturesque drives out to other nearby towns and villages of interest including; Thorpeness, Orford, Dunwich, Walberswick, Southwold and Woodbridge.

    

From the entrance hall you find a charming living room with comfortable furniture and TV with SKY and DVD/video player. The kitchen is well equipped with gas cooker, fridge freezer, washing/dryer machine and a dining area with table and chairs seating four people. Bedroom one has a double bed, wardrobe and bedside tables; bedroom two has twin beds, wardrobe and bedside table. The family bathroom has a corner bath, overhead shower, WC and wash hand basin. French doors in the living room give access to the patio where you can enjoy a BBQ or alfresco dining, a patio table, chairs and parasol are provided, there is a gate giving direct access to the beach. Off road parking for 2 cars.

Note: Adjacent to Sundial Cottage (ref TBRJ) is Sundial House which can be booked alongside giving a total of 11 bedrooms sleeping 22 people.

We are pleased to be able to offer the guests of Sundial Cottage an exclusive discount at the local Ufford Park Golf and Spa (approximately a 20 minute drive away). 2 for 1 on golf green fees (must be booked in advance) 50% discount on the day entry fee for the gym, swimming pool and sauna. 2 for 1 on Thermal Spa entry (Monday to Thursday) and 25% discount per person (Friday to Sunday)- prices ranging from £15 to £40, again must be booked in advance) 25% discount on all booked beauty treatments.
