Unique beach front mansion overlooking the sea. Sundial House enjoys a private position in the ever popular town of Aldeburgh. Recently refurbished and superbly equipped, it is ideal for a traditional family holiday or get together with friends - this property is regularly booked for special occasions.
The accommodation is spacious and comfortably furnished with a large drawing room and dining areas in both the conservatory and dining room. Conveniently there are three twin bedrooms with vanity basins and a double bedroom with en-suite shower room on the ground floor should there be members of your party who are unable to climb stairs. Upstairs the bedrooms have stunning sea views, all adding to the seaside holiday experience. The location of this house cannot be beaten, just yards from the beach and a minute or two's walk from the town.
Note: Adjacent to Sundial House is Sundial Cottage which can be booked alongside giving a total of 11 bedrooms sleeping 22 people.
Aldeburgh has a host of individual shops to browse, numerous high quality restaurants, traditional public houses, a cinema and award winning fish and chip shops, all within easy walking distance. With its golf course, tennis courts, cookery school and sea and river sailing the town has something for everyone.

Noted for its association with the composer Benjamin Britten, Aldeburgh was the backdrop for many of his operas, close by is the world famous Snape Maltings Concert Hall where the annual Music and Arts Festival is held. Lovely strolls along the beach or beach path can be enjoyed as well as picturesque drives to other towns and villages of interest including; Thorpeness, Walberswick, Dunwich, Orford, Southwold and Woodbridge. Also close by is the RSPB reserve at Minsmere and a few miles south Sutton Hoo, the Anglo Saxon burial ground.

There is a spacious living room with comfortable sofas, large flat screen TV with SKY, marble fireplace and doors leading through to the sunny conservatory and elegant dining room. Both dining room and conservatory have tables and chairs for dining and French doors leading out onto the terrace and garden. You will find a good sized kitchen with large range cooker, dish washer and fridge freezer along with a separate utility room with a second fridge for drinks.
There is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a further three twin bedrooms all with vanity basins, two with French doors to the garden, second sitting room with sofa, futon and French doors to the garden, family bathroom and two cloakrooms on the ground floor. Upstairs there are three twin bedrooms, two double bedrooms with 5ft beds one of which has an en-suite bathroom, a large Art Deco style family bathroom and a separate cloakroom. All upstairs bedrooms have stunning sea views and most have a vanity basin.
The garden, with sun terrace, is fully enclosed and private, an ideal place to relax. BBQ, parasols and patio furniture are provided along with a Wendy house and a selection of games to keep the children amused. There is secure off road parking for four cars along with additional roadside parking nearby.
