St Audry's House is a magnificent classical 7000sq ft Mansion House approached via a sweeping drive through a private golf course.

This grand house has been superbly refurbished and equipped to a very high standard, you will marvel at the scale of the accommodation arranged over three floors. As you enter St Audrys House you will find a large comfortable drawing room, an elegant dining room and an open-plan kitchen with breakfast area and second dining table and chairs. Leading off the breakfast area is a spacious family room with sofa bed (making a +2), SKY TV with DVD/Video player and further comfy seating. There is WIFI at St Audrys House. As you ascend the staircase to the first floor there is a charming window seat, the perfect spot for reading or relaxing as the sun pours in.

    

On the first floor there is a luxurious master bedroom suite with en-suite bathroom, dressing room, seating and views to the golf course. There are a further eight bedrooms which have all been tastefully decorated and are comfortably furnished, all have either en-suite facilities or a close-by bath or shower room. St Audry's House makes an ideal base for a sporting family holiday being just two miles from the market town of Woodbridge with its river and sailing facilities. Approximately half a mile away is the Ufford Park 'pay and play' golf course, spa and leisure club. The owner of St Audrys House has arranged exclusive discounts at Ufford Park for our guests, please see below for details. Golf players with a handicap can play on the private St Audrys golf course with prior arrangement with the club.

Woodbridge is a market town of considerable character on the west bank of the River Deben. The picturesque streets are lined with historic and interesting buildings. Many individual shops, boutiques and art galleries all draw in visitors along with the independent cinema, restaurants and traditional public houses which serve the local Adnams ale. There are notable places of interest nearby: Sutton Hoo, the Anglo Saxon burial ground and museum; Snape Maltings, the famous concert hall and complex associated with the composer Benjamin Britten; Thorpeness Mere and 'House in the Clouds' and the RSPB reserve at Minsmere. Other coastal towns such as Southwold, Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Walberswick and Felixstowe will make interesting excursions, all with lovely beaches. So much to do and so little time!

    

The accommodation comprises:
Large entrance hallway with magnificent staircase to the first floor galleried landing with feature window seat on first level. On the ground floor you will find; an elegant dining room with seating for 18 people. Spacious drawing room with feature fireplace, wooden floors and SKY TV/DVD/video player. Huge kitchen with range cooker, large breakfast area with dining table and chairs, pool table and a selection of indoor games, leading into the family room with SKY TV WIFI and seating. Cloakroom. First floor: master bedroom suite with king size bed, dressing room, en-suite bathroom, seating and views to the golf course. Guest bedroom with king size bed, en-suite bathroom and views to the golf course. Two twin bedrooms, separate shower rooms and a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Second floor: 5 twin bedrooms, family bathroom and separate shower room. To the rear of the property there is a charming private walled courtyard garden with patio furniture.

We are pleased to be able to offer the guests of St Audrys House an exclusive discount at the local Ufford Park Golf and Spa (just half a mile north of St Audrys House). 2 for 1 on golf green fees (must be booked in advance) 50% discount on the day entry fee for the gym, swimming pool and sauna. 2 for 1 on Thermal Spa entry (Monday to Thursday) and 25% discount per person (Friday to Sunday)- prices ranging from £15 to £40, again must be booked in advance) 25% discount on all booked beauty treatments.

    

Polite Notice: St Audrys House is in a residential area and therefore we do not allow parties, with the exception of diner parties, to be held at the house. The house can only be used by those who are booked to stay and are named on the booking form, we do not permit visiting guests to join the group. No fireworks, loud music or pets are permitted. Outside caterers permitted with prior permission. Specific rules apply to parking, you can view the parking plan in the FAQ section on our website.
