The coastal resort and nature reserves are all within easy reach - Wenhaston is only six miles from Southwold and Walberswick. The southern broads and many inland beauty spots can be found within half an hour's drive. Trains are only three miles away at Halesworth. Regular bus services run through the village to Southwold, Lowestoft and Aldeburgh.
