With its sunny, south-facing garden and everything close at hand, Miller's cottage offers very well presented accommodation for people seeking a restful holiday.
A small front garden leads to a portch where, off the entrance hall is a good sized living room with wooden floor and comfortable soft seating.
The kitchen is well fitted with plenty of units to provide good storage facilities, together with a range of kitchen appliances. There is also a dining area beside the kitchen window looking onto the back garden. From the kitchen, there is a pleasant south-facing sun room with a door onto the patio with outside furniture.
The garden has a shingle covered area and well-stocked flower beds. There is also a tall, ancient wall at the bottom of the garden covered with rambling clematis.
Inside in the hall, there are wide, sensible stairs that lead up to the two bedrooms. The front room is a large spacious room and the rear is the twin bedded room. The upstairs bathroom has a WC and over-bath shower.
Woodbridge is known for its history, picturesque views and welcoming atmosphere. It has been chosen as a settlement for over 1200 years, as it nestles near the head of the tidal reaches of the River Deben.
Other landmarks include the much photographed historical Tide Mill and Buttrum's Windmill. Across the river is the Anglo-Saxon Burial groung of Sutton Hoo operated by the National Trust where archaelogists discovered one of the greatest treasures ever found in Britain.
Miller's Cottage is just a two minutes stroll to the centre of Woodbridge. Here you will find a host of independent shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and even a lovely independent cinema and theatre.
Being so close to the coast also means that there are a number of beaches just a short drive away such as Aldeburgh, Walberswick and the lovely coastal town of Southwold. Walkers can also enjoy the miles of forest and river walks and explore the nearly 40 miles of beautiful heritage coast.
