Waldringfield is a small and popular village lying on the banks of the river Deben, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, about five miles south of Woodbridge. It has a busy pub, a sub post office open part time, and a church. Situated only about two miles from the A12, Waldrintfield offers a rural riverside location within easy reach of the rest of Suffolk, for great days out exploring. There is a golf course on the outskirts of the village which is open to non-members on a pay and play basis.
Thatched Farm (no longer a working farm) is on the edge of the village, and has been transformed into a beautiful home with a sprawling garden, adjacent to an ancient woodland and with fields all around. Bluebell and Daffodilhave been thoughtfully converted from agricultural buildings to well presented self contained properties.
Bluebell is a single storey studio offering compact, well designed accommodation for not more than two people and, Daffodil, sleeping two/three people, is a two storey, cosy cottage with many of its original exposed beams incorporated into the renovation. Bluebell and Daffodil offer the ideal solution for friends who wish to holiday together but have their own separate accommodation.
BLUEBELL is a compact single storey studio.
Sleeps 2 in one double.
Apart from the two steps up to the front door and one step separating the kitchen area and the living/bedroom area, Bluebell would be suitable for the slightly immobile.
